Working with local communities in CVE

In order to increase the exchange of information between practitioners and national policymakers, RAN will in the year 2018 deliver six Policy and Practice Events. » Working with local communities in CVE« is the fourth meeting in the chain of Policy & Practice events in 2018. National policies, budgets, and communication have a direct impact on the conditions with which local authorities and local communities operate. That is why RAN will focus this meeting on the engagement with communities.

Discussion: Early signs of radicalisation in local communities, particularly among youth

In cooperation with the Faculty of criminalistics, criminology and security studies of the University of Sarajevo, RCC will on September 18th gather in Sarajevo students from Bihac, Banjaluka, Tuzla, Zenica, Mostar and Sarajevo in order to discuss early signs of radicalisation in local communities and among youth. The aim of this event is to generate a constructive debate on societal context of local radicalisation, as well as the necessity for developing a strong referral mechanism for not only detecting but also preventing radicalisation narratives among youth.  This event is organized within the IPA II 2016 Regional Action on P/CVE in the Western Balkans.
