The Integrative Internal Security Governance (IISG) Secretariat successfully organized and facilitated the Coordinator Meeting (14 October) and the 18th Regional Network of National CT-P/CVE Coordinators (RNNC) Meeting (15 October 2025) in Skopje, North Macedonia.

These back-to-back meetings were organized within the framework of the European Commission’s initiative to enhance coordination and implementation of the Joint Action Plan (JAP) on Counter-Terrorism and Preventing/Countering Violent Extremism (CT-P/CVE) in the Western Balkans. The RNNC meeting were convened under the strategic oversight of the EU Regional Security Advisor, Mr. Eddy Greif, and supported by the European Commission (DG HOME).

The 18th RNNC Meeting gathered national CT-P/CVE Coordinators, representatives from EU and international partners, as well as from regional organizations.

The main points of discussions included:

• Validation of the roadmap methodology;
• Final agreement on the template and key performance indicators;
• Defining of next steps for the development of national roadmaps for 2026–2030;
• Consideration of the development of a regional roadmap covering shared activities such as joint assessments, training platforms, and network cooperation.
