On 21st October, Head of the IISG (Integrative Internal Security Governance) Support Group, Mr. Ramiz Huremagić participated in the handover of 18 portable computers aimed to strengthen the capacity of Bosnia and Hercegovina for prevention and countering of violent extremism.

The handover took place at the Ministry of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina.  Mr. Samir Rizvo, Assistant Minister of Security and Mr. Mario Janeček, Chair of the BIH Oversight Body for implementation and monitoring of Strategy for prevention and countering of terrorism accepted the donation on behalf of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The donation was made possible by the EU IPA II 2016 Multi-Country Action – Support to Prevention and Countering Violent Extremism (P/CVE) in the Western Balkans. The contribution is not only significant technical support to the Oversight body, but it reconfirms IISG’s commitment to supporting capacities in BiH in achieving the goals set by the national strategy.
