Workshop for Kosovo Prosecutors on interview technique skills for war crimes witnesses and victims

Between 18- 19 April EULEX organized a two-day workshop for Kosovo Prosecutors on interview technique skills for war crimes witnesses and victims with a focus on sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) cases in armed conflict.
Conducted by Ms. Luana Scarcella, EULEX Legal Officer, and Me. Gianfranco Gallo, international legal expert, the purpose of the workshop was to provide participants with knowledge and understanding of the specific skills needed in interviewing, witnesses and victims of war crimes cases especially those of an SGBV nature.

Funded by the UK Department for International Development (DFID) through Catholic Relief Services (CRS) as leader of consortium of partners, this research aimed at enhancing present legal framework and practices in line with UN and EU legislation in the area of THB and gender based violence (GBV).
