On 17^th of May 2024, the IISG Secretariat organised the national consultations in Sarajevo to complete Year 3 Response Mapping, initiate the 2nd Needs Mapping Process, and enhance the IISG Database, with the participation of Ministry of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina, SIPA, OSA, Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Federal Police Administration (Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina) and Ministry of Interior of Republika Srpska.

Responsibilities and timelines for the second needs mapping process, reaffirmation of the database’s role, addressing access issues, and planning for the enhanced security and usability features, including a new cybersecurity component, were discussed.

The consultations emphasized the commitment to IISG objectives, setting clear timelines for needs mapping submissions and organising further meetings to maintain progress in regional security cooperation.
