The IISG Secretariat organized the Regional Pillar Support Group Meeting for the Western Balkan Counter-Terrorism initiative (WBCTi), on the 8th of June 2022. The meeting was held in Podgorica, and supported by IISG Support Group members from Austria, Slovenia, and Italy.
Consultations related to finalizing the Biennial Needs Mapping report for WBCTi, the annual Response Mapping report for WBCTi, IISG Database, and the annual work plan for WBCTi, where the main topic discussions.
The meeting resulted in a positive outcome by providing expert-level agreement on the items proposed where the participants agreed on the final filters and needs within the charts, agreed with the revised methodology for mapping needs, methodology for response mapping, and methodology for mapping support (IISG Database), declaring that they are in line with all comments and inputs received by the WB Partners and members, therefore they are considered as final and will be put for adoption on the upcoming 6th IISG Board meeting in Sarajevo, Bosnia I Herzegovina on the 20th of June 2022.
