Cybersecurity Pillar

The Western Balkan Cybersecurity Pillar aims to support the Western Balkan Six in addressing the regional cybersecurity challenges by enhancing cooperation and aligning with EU cybersecurity frameworks. This pillar focuses on creating a regional cybersecurity platform, which will, among other things, help integrate the Western Balkans into the EU cybersecurity certification process, and foster information and knowledge exchange.

Through the development of a coordinated cybersecurity database, the Cybersecurity Pillar seeks to streamline the identification and resolution of cybersecurity needs, ensuring efficient collaboration among regional stakeholders, the EU, and donors. This initiative is designed to strengthen the region’s overall cybersecurity resilience in a sustainable and effective manner.
