On 7^th December 2023, the IISG Secretariat organised the 7^th IISG Board meeting in Sarajevo in a hybrid form. The Board was presented by the European Commission (DG NEAR which chaired the meeting), Western Balkans Partners: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo^*, Montenegro, and North Macedonia, and Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) as the host entity of IISG Secretariat. At this Board meeting, voting members were represented at the level of directors.

The 7^th Board meeting adopted the following: first Annual Response Mapping Report on three pillars for Year 1 (2021), second Annual Response Mapping Report on three pillars for Year 2 (2022), analytical report on the IISG Database, Annual Report for 2022, and Annual Plan for 2024.

In addition, the Board concluded that IISG members and Secretariat should conclude the work on the following: 2nd Biennial Needs Mapping Report, 3rd Annual Response Mapping Report, updating the IISG database and analysing support, revising the methodology on becoming a member, developing Rules of Procedures for the overall work of IISG, and developing Methodology for the work of the Support Group.

In addition to voting members, this Board meeting gathered other IISG members and invitees such as: DG HOME, Regional CT/Security Advisor from the EU Delegation to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Austria, UNODC, GIZ, MARRI RC, Italy, OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, RAI Secretariat, Frontex, Greece, USA, EUROJUST, and CEPOL both in person and online.

The 7^th Board meeting concluded that IISG is a very good platform for communication and regional cooperation in security matters. All members of the Board supported the IISG and are looking forward to its successful new phase (2024-2026).
