On the 1st December 2021, the IISG Secretariat organised the National-level thematic coordination meetings for 2 Pillars (WBCTi and WBCSCi) in Skopje. Representatives from the Ministry of the Interior of North Macedonia and the National Center for CVE and CT participated in the meeting.

Topics of the discussion were the process of finalizing the Biennial Needs Mapping report for WBCTi which is planned to be sent to Governing Board for adoption. The participants of the session dedicated to Pillar 1 – WBCTi discussed and concluded all of the needs regarding this pillar.

The participants of the session dedicated to Pillar 2 – WBCSCi discussed all the needs, but had to make additional national consultations on some aspects, which requires consultations beyond Ministry of Interior, as the main counterpart of the IISG. Therefore, the final package will be sent to IISG Secretariat by 10 December 2021;

The Response mapping methodology was the topic of the meeting, as well as the potential indicators for Response mapping related to pillars i.e. WBCTi and WBCSCi;

The secure database methodology and the information to be provided in the secure database were topic of discussion during this meeting. It was agreed that the comments on the methodology will be sent in the upcoming period.

Due to the health issues, the meeting with the Pillar 3 – WBBSi representatives will be held at a later stage.
